Vehicle Banks Person (VB01)

This course is designed to raise awareness of the dangers caused when reversing, identify the role of the Banks Person, and be able to use recommended signals, thinking about safe traffic and pedestrian routes with clear segregation of site users.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course the delegated will be able to:

Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Regulations regarding Banksman.
Understand the need for risk assessment and discuss the major safety issues that should be considered when planning and carrying out any guided reversing maneuver.
Understand the importance of keeping reversing areas clear.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use the of hand signals.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use the of Hi-Vis PPE.
