Permit Writers Course (PTW)

The Permit Writers Course (PTW) is a practical half-day training session designed to give delegates the knowledge and confidence to prepare, review and manage permits-to-work effectively.

The course focuses on the permit-to-work system as a live control process, not just an administrative form, and explains how permits help coordinate people, plant, equipment, isolations, hazards, and communication before high-risk work begins.

With prior consultation we can incorporate your own permit system and situations in the workplace to create realistic examples.

The course is intended for permit writers, issuers, authorisers, supervisors, operations personnel, maintenance teams and contractors who are involved in planning, approving or carrying out work under a permit. It is also suitable for anyone who needs to understand how permit controls are applied, communicated, monitored and closed out safely.
