Phil Rashbrook, Trainer
Phil Rashbrook is an experienced freelance instructor and consultant specialising in height safety and rescue, and confined space access and rescue. He served as Director of Training for HART (Height and Rescue Training by Pure Safety Group), managing programs in height safety, rescue, first aid, and GWO training, along with bespoke training, on-site rescue, and consultancy services.
Previously, Phil was the Training Manager for Europe at MSA – The Safety Company and a Senior Instructor at Honeywell Safety Products, delivering various safety training courses across sectors like utilities, construction, emergency services, entertainment, and oil and gas. He also worked as a Safety & Rescue at Height/Confined Spaces Instructor at Rig Systems Ltd, conducting safety training and on-site confined space surveys throughout the UK.

Ian Swan, Trainer
CMIOSH
With over 15 years of experience in health and safety training and consultancy, Ian brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the Eurosafe Training team. His career has included roles as a Health and Safety Trainer with ESS Safeforce, Senior Health and Safety Consultant with ARCO Training and Consultancy, and Academy IQA with Yorkshire Water, where he ensured high standards in training and assessment. Most recently, he worked as a Construction Tutor at CST Training, further strengthening his expertise in the construction and utilities sectors.
At Eurosafe, Ian delivers practical, engaging, and compliant training that empowers delegates to work safely and confidently. Drawing on his extensive background, he combines in-depth theory with real-world application, ensuring learners gain both the knowledge and confidence to apply safe working practices in their roles.
