Latchways® Vertical System - How to Install to a Steel Ladder
This module is for persons who are required to carry out installations, inspections and use Latchways vertical systems on steel ladders located on:
- Telecoms Towers
- Met Masts
- Broadcasting Towers
- Buildings
Note: This module requires completion of the mandatory half-day Prerequisites & Introduction module unless it was completed within the last 3 years. This additional module can be added to the basket during the online booking process.

Course Contents
- Install a Latchways vertical system to a steel round rung ladder
- Install a Latchways vertical system to a steel square rung ladder
- Install a Latchways vertical system to a steel diamond rung ladder
- Install a Latchways vertical system to a flat stringer ladder
- Perform pre-climbing checks prior to ascending the system
- Perform Guided Type Fall Arrest pre-use checks prior to connecting to a vertical system
