This module is for persons who are required to carry out installations, inspections and using Latchways vertical systems on the following structures:
- Wind turbines fitted with aluminium ladders
- Aluminium access ladders
Latchways® Vertical System - How to Install to an Aluminium Ladder
Course Content
- Install a Latchways vertical system to an aluminium ladder.
- Install a temporary rope system to an aluminium ladder.
- Install a permanent vertical system to an aluminium ladder using a 7 or 10 rung extension post (ground installation method).
- Install a permanent vertical system to an aluminium ladder using a 7 or 10 rung extension post (retro fit).
- Uninstall a temporary rope system post permanent system installation.
- Install a vertical system to an aluminium ladder using a 3 rung top anchor and strengthening kit (ground installation method).
- Install a vertical system to an aluminium ladder using a 3 rung top anchor and strengthening kit (retro fit).
