On 21 May, we hosted another successful CPD event at our Training Academy in support of No Falls Week, bringing together industry professionals to highlight the importance of fall prevention when working at height.
We were joined by expert speakers covering key industry topics, including Don’t Fall Silent, presented by Richard Bate – IOSH President, and Non-Conforming Products, delivered by Roy Wilders – BSIF Manager for the Registered Safety Supplier Scheme and Special Interest Groups.
The event also featured CPD sessions delivered by Eurosafe trainers, including Ladder Safety with Steve Wood, Rescue from Height with Rob Kynoch, and PPE for Working at Height with Andy Jennings.

Interview with Roy Wilders, BSIF
We sat down with our guest speaker Roy Wilders from the BSIF ahead of his appearance at the Eurosafe No Falls Week 2026 CPD event. Roy shared his insights and experiences from across the safety industry, as well as the journey that led him into a career in Health and Safety.
Roy has been involved in the Safety & Health industry since the mid-1990s, holding roles within several national and global organisations. Throughout his career, he has worked across sales, business management, training, and product design, development, and certification before joining the BSIF in 2019. Today, Roy manages both the Registered Safety Supplier Scheme and the Special Interest Groups for the BSIF, playing a key role in supporting best practice and raising standards across the industry.
Event Feedback
We’re pleased to have received very positive feedback from the event attendees:
“I hadn’t realised how high the statistics were. It was great to bring along other members of the team so they got an understanding of what the Health and Safety team are looking for and at when we put together their site plans.”
“Working at height is still a major risk; even with the innovations and improvements, we must do better. Nothing beats in person events, you learn more, and networking with other professionals only grows your competency. The details and guidance was superb. ”
“Thank you all very much for a great day, I genuinely enjoyed the content and chatting with the guest speakers and delegates. Very impressed to see representatives from BSIF and IOSH no less. You’ve clearly got a great set-up. All your staff seem so happy to be there which is a great testament to your company.”
“It was extremely valuable. Loved the sessions you ran after the talks – they were insightful.”
“Excellent guest speakers, really useful practical demonstrations…and just interesting and engaging – never dry like this stuff can be. The event, premises and equipment were all so well organised and the staff were clearly glad to be working there. I’ll definitely be back from more CPD events. Thank you for the invitation to this one which I’m so glad I took up.”
“Extremely valuable and I would highly recommend to anyone in a Health and Safety role.”
It was fantastic to see so many organisations engaging in proactive conversations around fall prevention and workforce protection. A big thank you to our speakers, attendees, and the Eurosafe Training & PPE team for making the event such a success.
We’re proud to support such an important initiative and continue to raise awareness on how we can minimise risks throughout the industry.
